UCL East

Architect: Stanton Williams Project Completion: November 2018

Brief

To create a set of imagery for UCL East, the largest single expansion of London’s global university since it was founded nearly 200 years ago. The images should communicate the natural lighting, the materiality of the building and a good sense of activity.

Our Process

From the outset, we had a very clear idea of how the imagery should look. We emphasised natural light flooding the interior of the building and we created activity by inhabiting each space with its own narrative.

Our visual explanation of how the central atrium connects with the adjoining spaces was pivotal to the success of this set of imagery and we are really proud of our portrayal for this iconic development.
